ACT Bright Future Prize

A £40,000 fund to turn your bright idea into a reality.

The 2026 prize is now closed for entries, as of Sunday 1 March.

Through the Bright Future Prize, ACT empowers and invests in the next generation of community leaders around the world.

The winners of our four categories will share the £40,000 prize fund to bring their bright idea to life, alongside opportunities for networking and mentoring through The Ardonagh Group’s global network of businesses. 

The prize is open to young people aged 15–21 years old, located anywhere across the world where The Ardonagh Group has a presence, including:

Please include the following information: What your project idea is How you would use the prize funding (a maximum £10,000 per winner, or equivalent local currency) to make your idea come to life Whether you are already involved in or supporting your chosen cause and relevant achievements to date Why you are passionate about your idea and why it matters to you
Consider including the following information: How your project idea will make a positive difference, now and into the future Who or what it will benefit – for example, this might be a particular group of people, a community, or the environment If you are already involved in your chosen cause, you might choose to include examples of how it’s already made a difference or feedback you have received
Consider including the following information: Tell us about any personal goals, dreams or future career ideas you have Your aspirations might be connected to your project idea and/or personal development
Have you ever received funding connected to your bright idea before?


Supporting documents
Alongside your application, you are welcome to provide supporting documentation. This could be a video, a short slide deck, or even photographs that provide extra information that will help our ACT Trustees learn more about you and your project.
