Bright Future Prize 2022 – launches today!

We’re excited to announce that today sees applications open for the ACT Bright Future Prize – empowering teens with dreams to make their communities of choice, better, brighter and stronger through a £40,000 fund.

We’re searching for the next generation of community leaders and innovators – those exceptional young people who are committed to driving positive change and inspiring others.

We were so blown away by our 2021 finalists and their projects that we’re back to do it all again.

The Bright Future Prize aims to help young people aged 13-19 make a difference by turning their ideas into a reality by offering them the chance to benefit from a share of £40,000 and mentoring.

I’m really excited that applications for the Bright Future Prize 2022 are now officially open. We want to hear from 13–19-year-olds about the incredible projects and causes they’re passionate about, so that we can help support their communities around the world. I’m incredibly proud to be an ACT trustee and supporter of the Bright Future Prize and I can’t wait to read about young people's big ideas to help shape a brighter future.

Our four prize categories

This year we have four categories, each linked to a different way young people can make a difference in their community of choice. The prize fund will be shared across all four categories, meaning each winner will receive £10,000 to help make their bright ideas come to life.
