Celebrating a year of making a difference
With 2025 drawing to a close, we look back on some of the small and the mighty ways colleagues, alongside ACT (Ardonagh Community Trust), have made a difference to people, causes and communities around the world over 2025.
Here's a round-up of our grand giving totals, plus highlights from the year gone.
The totals are in...giving big in 2025
Across ACT's funding programmes we have some wonderful numbers to share. Of course, behind the arithmetic, there is always immeasurable impact which goes above and beyond what any spreadsheet can show.
- £221,000+ awarded across 49 Community grants. Taking the overall grant total to-date to an amazing £1.26 million.
- £774,000+ raised via match funding, formed of £609,000 by colleagues and £165,000 donated by ACT to boost totals. To date, a grand total of £2.3 million has been raised through match funding since 2017!
- £250,000 total target reached for our global charity partner, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), including £80,000 on a single day through this year's Give Back event.
- £40,000 shared by our fantastic Bright Future Prize 2025 winners – four young people with their own community projects to enact positive change.
- 3,500+ hours gifted through volunteering across the year, giving back time and skills to causes special to colleagues.

Getting ready to head on tour...
2025 saw a real first for ACT, the launch of the Trust's exhibition, ACT: A Retrospective, at a special event in the grounds of Kensington Palace, London. This curated collection shared the story behind ACT's eight-year journey alongside exhibits to demonstrate the impact and people that are central to all ACT's work.
Looking ahead to 2026, a series of pop-up exhibitions will be travelling around the Group and across the world so that even more colleagues, partners and friends of Ardonagh have the opportunity to engage with ACT. Further details of ACT : On Tour will be shared in early 2026, so keep an eye out on Engage, but safe to say we can't wait to bring ACT to even more parts of the Group over the next 12 months.

How ACT supports giving day in and day out
ACT is here no matter the time of year to amplify the charitable action of our people – wherever they are located and whichever business they are a part of.
Through ACT's funding programmes, Ardonagh employees can access support for the causes closest to their hearts.
- Community grants: helping communities and causes shine brighter
Four times a year, ACT's board of Trustees awards grants to causes nominated by Ardonagh colleagues with a grant of up to £5,000 (or equivalent local currency). - Match funding: boosting your fundraising efforts
Available at any point throughout the year, ACT's match funding scheme boosts the totals raised by colleagues for the charities they care about. We boost totals by up to £500, with an elevated cap of £750 for schools and community sports. - Volunteering: give back your time and skills
All Ardonagh employees have a minimum of one paid day of volunteering leave each calendar year to support a chosen causes. - Bright Future Prize: empowering and investing in the next generation
ACT's annual youth bursary prize, Bright Future Prize, searches the world for young people with ambitions to enact their own community projects. 2026's prize is set to open for applications in early February.
