Over 2026, ACT is on tour – literally – with its travelling exhibition journeying the world of Ardonagh.
The end of February marked the second stop of the exhibition, with ACT : On Tour landing in Liverpool, UK, joining the Bravo Networks 2026 Conference in the heart of the city.
Here, a showcase of the stories behind ACT over the past nine years took place, the exhibition was on show at the ACC venue on Liverpool’s dockside.
Given the location, the pop-up paid particular homage to causes ACT has been privileged to support over the past nine years with a connection to communities in the Merseyside region.
As Bravo Network’s key event of the year, the two-day conference was a brilliant opportunity not only for Ardonagh colleagues to engage with ACT but also to invite many of Bravo’s partners to do the same.
At the event, Bravo joined together with ACT to fundraise for three local Liverpool causes: childhood cancer support charity, the Owen McVeigh Foundation; community hub, Brunswick Youth Community Centre; and migrant and female-led charity, 4Wings.
Thanks to the generosity of guests over the conference and its gala dinner event, £6,000 was raised, including a donation from ACT. This sum will be shared equally between the three chosen causes – giving back to the Liverpool community.
The Owen McVeigh Foundation has long had a connection to ACT and colleagues. Enriching the lives of children affected by cancer, the foundation offers families the opportunity to create treasured memories through invaluable experiences and short breaks – creating a chance to pause and laugh amidst challenge.
Thanks to a nomination from Everywhen’s Alex Cooke, the charity received an ACT Community grant to fund a weekend away for families to Blackpool. Alex has seen the impact of the Owen McVeigh Foundation herself, as the charity was a huge source of comfort for her family when her nephew was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
ACT Independent Trustee, Sarah Williams, has likewise been a long-time supporter of the charity, which enabled her son Freddie and the whole family to spend quality time together when he was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma.
We were thankful to be joined by Alex and Sarah, together with Mark McVeigh and Eddie Hincks from the Owen McVeigh Foundation to hear more about how the charity creates positive moments for families.
For the next stop in the tour, ACT will be embarking on a very special route across the rest of the UK and Ireland - look out for more information coming soon.
Later in the year, the exhibition will then set off to Europe and beyond to reach as many Ardonagh colleagues as possible and we'll be sharing highlights from ACT : On Tour's travels throughout 2026.
