Terms and Conditions: Bright Future Prize 2022

  1. The prize draw for the Bright Future Prize (the “Prize”).

  2. To be eligible to enter the prize draw you must be aged between 13 and 19 years old and live in a country where the Ardonagh Group has a presence. Employees of The Ardonagh Group Limited or its subsidiaries and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

  3. The promoter of the prize draw is Ardonagh Community Trust (the “Charity”) – registered charity of The Ardonagh Group (charity registration number: 1175060).

  4. The prize draw is free to enter.

  5. The Prize is only available for the funding of a project, contribution to a registered charity or payment for educational costs as specified in the application (“the Project”).

  6. By submitting an entry as part of the prize draw, the applicant confirms that all of the information contained in the entry is accurate to the best of their knowledge.

  7. All entries must be submitted via ardonaghtrust.org//bright-future-prize and only one entry per person is permitted.

  8. The opening date for entries is 10am on Monday 14 March 2022. The closing date of the prize draw is 5pm BST Friday 29 April 2022 May. Entries received after this time will not be considered.

  9. The Charity accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

  10. All applications will be reviewed and shortlisted by a panel of individuals appointed by Charity before the Board of Trustees for the charity choose finalists.

  11. Once finalists are chosen, all applicants will be contacted by 31 July 2022 to advise of the outcome of their application and next steps.

  12. All finalists and the referees they have chosen will take part in a filmed interview, either in person or online, to help with the judging process.

  13. The winner(s) will be chosen by the Board of Trustees on Wednesday 21 September 2022.

  14. Prize winners will win a share of £40,000 to go towards the funding of a project, contribute to the Project as specified in the application. £10,000 will be available for each category, meaning a total of four prizes can be won.

  15. At the sole discretion of the Board of Trustees further prize(s) may be awarded from a smaller funding pot of up to £10,000, which will be allocated and distributed in any manner they see fit towards the Project(s) of any of the applicants as further winner(s) addition to the main winner.

  16. All winner(s) will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) before Friday 7 October 2022 and will be required to enter into an agreement on the usage of the funds which will be prepared in line with their Project (the “Agreement”). In the event that the winner is under the age of 18, the Agreement will be made with the winner’s parents or guardian. If the winner(s) or their guardian / parents fail to enter into the Agreement stated within or within 14 days of being notified then the Charity reserves the right to withdraw the offer of the Prize.

  17. The funds awarded will then be transferred to the relevant account within 30 days of being notified of their win or 30 days after entry into the Agreement, whichever is later.

  18. The Prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no alternative is offered.

  19. The decision of the Charity regarding any dispute on the rules or conduct of the prize draw or any other aspect of the Prize is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

  20. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Charity reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

  21. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Charity’s privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.ardonaghtrust.org

  22. The Charity at its sole discretion reserves the right to withdraw the offer of the Prize from any winner(s) in the event that it considers that their stated Project is incapable of being achieved or benefited in the same manner as stated in their application.

  23. The Charity reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw or the rules without notice during the period for entry into the prize draw. Any cancellation of or changes to the prize draw will be notified to you on https://www.ardonaghtrust.org
