Volunteering

Giving back time and skills to make a difference.

We make it easier for Ardonagh colleagues to give back through volunteering. Every year our people have the opportunity to donate their time and skills to their local communities.

day of paid volunteering leave minimum each year

hours given back last year by colleagues

By donating their time and skills, Ardonagh people make a direct impact on their local communities that they can feel on a personal level too.

“It’s really easy to book your volunteering day and a great opportunity to give back to a cause you feel passionate about. It might not feel like you can achieve much in just a day, but to a lot of charities the work you do will be invaluable.”

Jay Davies, Ardonagh Retail

Ardonagh Retail colleague, Jay Davies, volunteered at The Children’s Air Ambulance’s charity shop in Doncaster, UK.

As a community broker who can trace our roots back over 100 years, it's so important to support those who impact the wider community. Inflation has impacted everyone, but none more so than those who were struggling pre pandemic and we hope to support the charity more throughout the year.

Andrew Kelly, Towergate, Ardonagh Advisory

The Towergate Northampton spent two days donating time to The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation, packing food bags for schools across the area.

It was fantastic to spend some time with One Meal and see from grassroots just how much good the charity does for those in need.

It was so rewarding to give back and put in perspective the difficulties other face on a day-to-day basis. Even with the early 4am start to start preparing the breakfast, it was a really fantastic and humbling experience.
